2005 RESNET Rating Industry Leadership Awards Winners

To recognize leadership in the rating industry, RESNET has established the RESNET Rating Industry Leadership Awards. At the 2005 RESNET Building Performance Conference, RESNET President Philip Fairey presented the leadership awards selected by the RESNET Board of Directors.

The 2005 recipients are:

Florida H.E.R.O.

RESNET Market Transformation Leadership Award

This award is presented to an organization or rater that has made the most significant contribution to penetrating their housing market with rating services while maintaining quality of the services delivered. Ken Fonorow was presented this award for the outstanding job he has done in educating the housing industry in Gainesville, Florida and transforming the housing market to high performance ENERGY STAR homes.

Guaranteed Watt Savers Systems

RESNET Innovation Leadership Award

This award is presented to an organization or rater that has developed and implemented the most innovative program or policy. Kelly Parker was presented this award for the outstanding job his company has done in offering an innovative package of services to builders in the Oklahoma and Texas markets.

North Carolina Fannie Mae Partnership Office

RESNET Program Leadership Award

This award recognizes the outstanding contribution that a residential energy efficiency, building performance or financing program has made to the rating industry. Jon Gauthier, director of the North Carolina partnership office, was presented this award for the dynamic partnerships that were forged in the Tar Heal state among the state energy office, mortgage lenders, the state=s raters, the building industry, and RESNET.
