How to Become an Accredited BOP Provider

BOPs are a series of prescriptive standards developed by EPA that builders can use to demonstrate compliance to the ENERGY STAR Homes standard. BOP providers are responsible for administering rating programs. The responsibilities and requirements to be an accredited BOP provider are defined in the RESNET BOP Provider Accreditation Standard.
