People moved into raised ranch in New York August 2002; photo taken in February 2003. Every cavity in unfinished basement has mold; water literally hanging on the OSB by surface tension. Disrupt the surface tension and the water runs down in sheets. (Ed Voytovich, EnTherm, Inc. photo)

Mold collected on this door due to the build up of condensation within the connecting room.

This mold was caused by a water leak that was not taken care of properly or timely.

This is an example of moisture build up caused by the capillary actions of brick.
