Proposed Amendment TECH-2005-03Amend the list of minimum rated features in Table 303.7.1(1) to include the expanded score itemsProponent: RESNET Standing Technical Committee Proposed Changes: This proposal deletes references to non-rated features from definitions and acronyms (Section 302), deletes the table of estimated energy use for non-rated features (Table 303.5.1.9), adds ceiling fans to the list of minimum rated features (see Table 303.7.1(1)) and expands the Photovoltaic minimum rated feature to include all on-site power generation (see Table 303.7.1(1)). Justification: This is simply an outgrowth of TECH-2005-1 and TECH-2005-2. If the Expanded score replaces the Classic score, the minimum rated features need to include the expanded score end-uses (dishwasher, refrigerator, ventilation fan energy, lighting, on-site power production) and the energy use estimates for non-rated features, which will no longer exist, is no longer needed.
